At our sunrise 2/25 at 0015z I worked #195, ZB2FK. I have worked ZB2
before but have never been able to confirm it. I hope this one is
better. And then this morning the conditions were excellent, working
P29VXX with 579 at 12:31z, a couple of VK's (nice surprise), and 12
JA's with up to s9 + 10dB signals!
All this talk about beverages, I have 4 1000' beverages in use. On a
normal night my parasitic TX array is as good or better than the
beverages. But, if the noise level is at all higher than normal, the
beverages are king. I agree, that for such a simple design the
beverage is a remarkable antenna.
