For those who are interested, I had a chance to find out about VR2AX. He's
GW3YDH & was better known to us as VS6UK when he was last living here.
Wyn's a keen 160 op & currently throws a wire out the window of his flat
when he gets on with an IC-706 & 91B. Between being surrounded by
buildings & living in the urban (read: noisy) area, working anything can be
a bit of a challenge. During the ARRL 160, the noise level dropped to S7 &
he was able to work a number of W6s & 7s, which he's quite chuffed about.
He'll be printing some QSLs up soon, so those who need one can reach him
