[TenTec] Omni 7 on 630m...How do you open up the transmit range?

I am interested in trying my Omni 7 at 630m as a exicter for my home brew PA. 
The receiver works well on 630m and I was hoping the TX will make about 5 watts 
output.....but how do you get the Omni 7 to transmit there?
