No, sorry, I have never had a Jupiter and don't know if there is a
difference between the models regarding software. Sometimes folks report
issues trying to upload any new software, so that might be the reason for
"toasted" comment. I know when I updated my Omni VII the first attempt did
not work as expected, but at the time John Henry was still around and
helping out and he suggested a different method to upload that worked fine.

Vic....Do you know if the green screen Jupiter has a max version that can be
installed?
1.3 something perhaps? I seem to recall someone posting somewhere that they
tried to put the latest Jupiter version on there, and it
toasted the Jupiter....requiring it to be sent back to the factory.
