The most common problem could be connections between the band modules and the
main unit.
Try cleaning all connections thoroughly.
I use a soft eraser (for erasing pencil) to clean plug male pins.
For the female connection side, I used two sprays.
The first is an aggressive contact cleaner - spray on, let sit 5 to 10 minutes,
and then wash out with a second spray that is just a cleaner.
These are German products and probably not available in the states but surely
you have similar.
The abrasive cleaner is called "KONTAKT '60'", the rinse is "KONTAKT 'WL'."
You may also have blown finals.
There is a trick; you can completely bypass the final amplifier module by
removing the [input] coax connecting it to the driver module as well as the
coax [output] coax connecting it to the low pass filter inside of the band
module. Then simply connect the driver's output directly to the band module.
This effectively gives you a 5 watt QRP transceiver.
If it works, you PA is bad. If not, then something in the earlier stages is
bad.

Have a Scout and 8 modules that I need to sell for an estate of a friend.
In checking out many pieces of Ten Tec gear, I can not get this transceiver to
output any RF.
Receives fine and actually sounds better than I expected, but no transmit.
It had been sitting for a few years, so I ran the power pot back and forth and
removed/reinserted internal coaxes in case of oxidation issues.
Neither key, nor mic works. Sidetone is fine. No meter deflection.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Would appreciate any suggestions.
