Barry,

I am saying the radio will key if key loop 2 is turned on or off. key loop 1
will not key the radio if key loop 1 is turned on. If it is off, the radio
will key.

This is with nothing connected to the key loop jacks.

With the radio alone, it will not key at all with key loop 1 turned on.

I realize the older radios need a shorting bar between TXout and TXen.

But, is this the case with the Orion? If so, why does it work when key 2 is
activated?

I am afraid to put a jumper on key loop 1 until I know it’s ok.

thanks,
Mike

Are you saying keying loop #2 works with the amp connected to TX Out2/TX
En2? If not, what is connected to those jacks?
