Hi John,
No. I'd have to make one and send off list. The last photo I tried to
send was too large and the message got tossed. If you have a manual,
the variable capacitor C-31 shown the picture of the logic board on page
4-28 is the capacitor that changes the TCXO. One needs to set/check the
BFO oscillators as described on page 4-37 and 4-38. I set the BFO
oscillators using a frequency counter then I used fldigi in WWV mode to
set the TCXO using WWV on 10 Mhz. Mine is about 4 Hz off, but it's
close enough for me. I'm going to leave it as is for the time being.

Stan, do you have a photograph of the board showing the adjustment points? If
so, I would greatly appreciate having the benefit of them to make my
adjustment. I don' need to move the TXO much. Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW

Hi Greg,
I have hearing loss also. The increase in gain is fine with me. I just
wondered if it was normal.
Thanks for your reply.

Stan....my Omni VI Plus has the same action as yours. When I hit the 1.8
button, signal narrows, and gain jumps noticeably. I've actually come to
like it. I have hearing loss, and on past rigs, narrow filters never helped
me copy weak SSB signal. This one does at times. Different strokes for
different folks. Regards, Greg, KC8HXO

Hi everyone,
After adjusting the BFO and TCXO and
using the Omni VI for SSB and
digital modes for a little over a week
now, I kind of like the new to me
rig. I noticed a +2 or so S unit
change when switching from the 2.4 Kc
filter to the 1.8 Kc filter. It's
like there is less loss or more gain
when switching to the 1.8 Kc
filter. I wouldn't think that would be
"normal" Switching to the .5 Kc
filter doesn't do that. S meter reading
is the same as the 2.4 Kc filter.
Anyone seen this before?
