[TenTec] OMNI 6+ weak tone on receive

Suspect this is an alignment issue but:

Recently I have noticed a weak tone when on RX.  I can notch it out,  I can
passband it out too.  If I turn the VFO knob, the tone will disappear while
tuning and then return once stopped.  This is a weak tone, but gets
annoying after a while.  A weak signal will mask the tone.  Have not
measured the freq but would guess 1khz or so, maybe higher.
