Don't change except for the III. Ergonomically it is probably the best I''ve
worked with since 1953. Leave the display pretty much as it is. Need some
video connector out the back for whatever monitor we want to attach for the
(now) mandatory band display. Going to be a lot of room in the box for add on
stuff if you leave some internal connectors on the boards.
I have one Orion II that died and was not able to be fixed. Was in the process
of working it into a SDR rig until more projects came along. Seems that all of
the boards were controlled by a big serial sequence and not too big a deal to
control most with an Arduino. Maybe I'll get back with that. Hate to part it
out like the guys on eBay. But it is modular.
