Interesting set of opinions flowing in.
I have no idea which one I would follow if I were Mike.
I don't agree with Barry, nor Terry. I do think a limited number of Eagles
would be a good thing. I know we have had to turn down several requests for
Eagles here in Germany in the past year.
I believe it is imperative to begin shipping something with the Ten-Tec logo
on it ASAP.
One "idea" was just a limited run of 25 Eagles.
This would at least make a statement that Ten-Tec is shipping again.
I believe Bob brought up a very valid point: It would be great to see some
of the accessories back in production.
<> Model 238C Antenna Matchbox
<> Model 318 AMP KEYER
<> Model 712 Sound Card Interface
<> Model 715 RF-Speech Processor
Let's CHANGE THE THREAD SUBJECT before brainstorming Eagle II.
TERRY, you said you don't believe the Eagle has the features that most hams
want today. What would you specifically add to it in order to get it there?
IMO a low cost "Jack of all trades" radio will always be an apprentice at
everything and master of nothing.
On the other hand, a low cost master of one trade is feasible.
I will start a new thread right now.
Let's discuss it there.

Mike, I applaud your efforts, have always been a HUGE Ten-Tec fan, but think
that manufacturing the Eagle in its original form for a $1600 sales price
would be a BIG mistake.
Best of luck going forward!
