I bet you're right John.
I think the battery I had replaced was a different one. So my original back up
battery is probably going south now. Do you remember if you replaced yours with
one from Ten Tec or one of the parts stores like Newark? I see in the Ten Tec
wiki some information. And I did find the battery at Newark for a little over
$6.00.

Hi Rod,
Sure sounds like you need a new battery. I got just short of 10 years
out of my original Orion II battery, but they sometimes go much quicker
than that.
