The "raider" thing is not that uncommon. An Atlanta area, family owned, wholesale grocery business was taken in. Agreement to purchase with small down payment. New "team" rounded up all receivables and stopped paying until there was no juice left in the orange. Millions of dollars owed and no receivables. Former owners left with no business, a bad reputation, and no further payment for the business they had sold.
