Gunner,An "old trick" to clear out holes in PC boards that are clogged with solder: Use a round wooden 'tooth pick'. Push it through the hole from one side, while heating the solder from the opposite side. The tooth pick is tapered, and non-conductive, and soft enough not the scratch or hurt any internal planes or the plated through hole. The taper will force out all of the melted solder.
