I just had an Orion and Orion II repaired both of which are on their way
back
to me. 1.5 weeks round trip. Orion had com port (RS-232 ) problem (
lightning damage) which
couldn't be resolved as it got to the Dragon Ball CPU ( no longer
available) and a
couple of other associated issue which I wasn't aware of repaired. The
Orion II had a com
port problem and was repaired without any other issues discovered.
Also had batteries replaced in both radios.

The cost was minimal with 1.5 hrs bench time for both. The phoncons were
very informative
and cordial. I couldn't ask for any better communications in this
evolution. I gave the
service department my heartfelt thanks and encouraged them to keep at.

So the beat goes on...........

GD to all ,

Tim, AB4B

obtw...I really don't care what Elecraft service is , does or has done as
it is irrelevant to this reflector IMHO
