| Thanks for posting this, Ron. My favorite radio is sitting there in the
Service Department, and I am hoping that it will still be fixed, despite
all the changes necessitated by the change in ownership. The new service
rates are in line with what I used to have charged for my efforts when I
worked at the local two-way shop. I just want it to be fixed.
I bought an Omni VII during the Fire Sale, and now wish that I had
waited. I had the impression that the then owners were gutting the
company and selling off what they could, and that was apparently the
case. I too, am waiting to see what models the new ownership is
developing.

Pepe,
There are many others on the reflector who could give a more detailed and accurate answer... but the simple answer is "Yes."
Although it may be more like "Yes, but..."
Yes, the company is open for business and is busy right now.
But, they are still gearing up some things due to the... circumstances during
the later half of 2015 and it's effects on the operation, under the previous
ownership/management.
The new ownership has asked for some patience as everything is coming back.
Again, I don't know all the details and I don't want to speculate, but clearly,
some things were done that must now be undone. Neither of which could happen
overnight.
All we can do is be patient. I know it's tough... I for one am anxiously
awaiting the return of the Omni VII to production (even if it is as the O7+) so
that I can acquire something for mine. The wait can be frustrating, but all we
can do right now is wait.
Hang in there!

Is TenTec open for business? Don’t see much at all in their home page except prices for
service & repair, and future plans that don’t seem to materialize.
