| I have just purchased an OMNI VII and will be updating the firmware. I would 
prefer to use my Mac computer rather than a PC for this. I have a serial to USB 
adapter which should work to connect the OMNI to the Mac (or PC for that 
matter.) Any guidance would be appreciated. 
I may also want to operate the OMNI remotely using a Mac rather than a PC. 
Again any advice would be appreciated.
