Very refreshing to see an accurate statement on a reflector re shipping
submitted by Ken
"When it comes to damage in shipping most of the problem is with whomever
packs it. Many people just don't know how to properly pack things to
prevent damage. One should always assume that a package will be dropped,
thrown, kicked, rolled and tumbled."
Most folks haven't a clue what happens in the reality of modern logistics
when packages are automatically sorted and routed. The parcel WILL be
dropped and smacked about and the requirements for surviving are stated in
the shippers guidelines.
I hate the all too frequent blanket condemnations of the shippers when
damage is almost always the result of un informed packing
