Actually it's know as a "double-zepp" when it is fed with openwire.
As to what makes it that, well I guess the only answer is "tradition".

Personally, I prefer to call it an openwire-fed doublet.
But heck, what's in a name?
As long as we all understand what it is, that's the important thing.
