I would proceed and unplug each connector, one at a time. Apply a very small amount of contact cleaner to the female part. Then using a Q-Tip with again a very small amount of contact cleaner wetting the Q-Tip, wipe each of the male pins. Then plug that connector back in and remove another, following the same process, for each one.

I bet you'll be surprised and it will perform like a new radio.

My Omni VI+ has gone off to lala land. It suddently stopped
receiving, and I turned it off. Turning it back on made it do
one of two or three things:
Just one light came on the lock light.
or all the lights around the tuning knob light up.
or lights on one side of the tuning knob light.

The main frequency displayand associated indicators
does not light.

Unless it's just a connector problem, it's back to
the mother ship. Any suggestions?
