No matter of what the value is, some will want it different.
I just control the radio with software and forget about it. That way it
does exactly what I want.
Software from N4PY does a wonderful job.

Unfortunately NO, and as you say, 10Hz is too fine and 100 Hz too coarse.
If you are at 100 Hz and want to go to 10 Hz, you have to push the button
4
times.
I wish there was a 50 Hz step.
That would probably be a good compromise.

Subject: [TenTec] Eagle tuning rate options?
Had a quick question for Eagle owners out there. I see that you can vary
the tuning rate by changing the vfo step by factors of 10 (1hz, 10hz,
100hz, etc). Is there also a slow/fast encoder setting like the Orion?
10X seems like a huge jump in tuning rate or maybe I'm missing something.
I was watching the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olPBH7UH6sk
and
the tuning looks too slow for ssb. He seems to be using 10hz step. On
the
other hand, I know that 100hz step would normally be too coarse for ssb.
I
assume you couldn't quickly toggle between 10hz and 100hz - you would have
to cycle through all six step sizes?
Thanks/73,
