Reference recent news stories, chances are that China has already obtained
the drawings and can make an Omni VII at 1/2 the cost of the same US
product.
If China want to build Kenwood, ICOM, Yaesu, Elecraft, Tentec, FLEX and
others, likley they have means to obtain all the required files and proceed
with their manufacturing and distribution.

TT CAN source cabinets from other US companies,
like Hammond Manufacturing which make the same high
quality stuff TT does now, and get the economies
of scale Eric talked about.
If everyone keeps buying from China... well... who
will have jobs here to buy their stuff?
