I believe he has turned it over the the police. Assuming the police
investigate, it is probably best to sit tight to avoid messing up whatever
they might be doing. OTOH, if the police say" it's a civil contract
dispute, take it to court" as they often do, then you are on your own.
I don't think any assumptions can be made about this Garrett person or the
named account the money was wired to. Who knows what that relationship, if
any, might be?
Garrett has some 'splainin' to do, and Mary Jane Robinson too.
