Oh, I understand! It's still as easy as the old AT systems, really. We hear
about all the wonderful new interfaces, but they only go in one way, so it
remains as easy as it was before. It requires some dedication and willful
ignorance to plug the components into the wrong slots! I've heard of it
happening, but I've never actually seen it done.

Oh, it's not eyesight. My eyesight has always been terrific, almost as
good as my hindsight actually. It's still pretty good. Even my dexterity
is not too badly eroded. It's figuring out which doodads get hooked, and
how, to which gizmo's. Getting at AT clone up and running was pretty
simple. Now with all the various considerations to ponder, choices to be
made about each part, some of which won't work together, or even fit in the
box if certain other doodads are chosen, it isn't so easy.
Anyway, I already have my Dell which ought to last a life time and more
besides.
