My dream was to build an amp with 4x 1625's in push-pull parallel.
At the end of the day, I built the amp with 3x 811a instead - straight out
of the Handbook.

Nothing like class AB1 or AB2 push pull audio from a pair of 6V6GT's.

we had a cat that loved the top of that receiver on a cold winters
day..but
she kept getting her claws hung up on the top covers vent holes.
Called her our "excess filament heat absorption unit".
I really miss that old SX101A..the audio was georgous..but it sure did
like
to drift.
