Congrats on the new radio:

a) run the latest - there is absolutely no reason not to
b) what's a spectrum scope?
c) tons of guys will tell you all kinds of stuff but I don't buy any of it
- just run high AF Gain and low RF Gain.  AGC settings are UNIMPORTANT
d) use it and enjoy it
