[TenTec] Repair Question

I am trying to run down someone who would like to repair a vintage piece of 
Ten-Tec gear.  I don't yet know the model or the issues, since I'm waiting for 
an acquaintance to provide the info.
 
I gather TT service may have said, no thanks.  But I am not going to bet the 
farm on the accuracy of that statement. 
 
Any suggestions out there?
