This is the way I see it. As long as we do not add liquid soap to the
rain water, we should be OK. And, if we decide to wash our window line with
liquid soap, we have to make sure we rinse it really well! Did I get the
main points of this discussion? ;-)

Problem solved .... I think.
Just added some wetting agent - washing up liquid - to the water and
re-sprayed. Losses jumped to 5dB/100ft at 26MHz!
