Bob: I would price it somewhere in the $1200- $1300 range. The last two
options are not too
common. I only know of one other ham with the '257 board.
It's a lot easier to drop the price than to go up! HI. The Omni VI and VI+
are still a solid radio.
My VI+ is in the prime spot on the desk and use the Jupiter as a second RX and
backup. I have
looked at the newer TenTec rigs and they are really nice, but my radios are
still working great!

Subject: [TenTec] T-T OMNI VI Option 3 Value?
Hi All,
Looking to place a value on a T-T OMNI VI (563) with the Option 3
Factory Upgrade to a plus. Serial number indicates November of 93
production . All four slots in the first IF are populated (282, 285, 288)
and 2 out of three slots in the PBT board are also filled.
It also has the 2 PPM TCXO, Model 257 voice synthesizer board,
Model 259 ALC Annunciator, Model 705 Desk Mic and a Model 961 Pwr supply and
speaker.
JUST back from Ten Tec Two weeks ago. The crystal oven was bad and
no longer available, so it got the TCXO. The meter was sticking and was
replaced along with the op-amp driver. The encoder was sloppy and squeaky,
now its smooth as silk and no noise. It was fully checked out and given a
clean bill of health. All Paperwork from T-T is available.
Cosmetics on the rig and power supply easily a 9 / 10
I purchased this from the original owner who was sight impaired.
