It might be noted that an open in one of the bridge diodes may not cause
a fuse blow; but increased ripple and hum may be seen.
When testing electrolytics individually, it is easier to use the X100 ohms test with VOM if the cap is disconnected from its circuit. DO bleed off any residual charge before testing. A 5 watt wirewound or any convenient of a few k ohms with clip leads on it makes a good discharge tool when placed across a cap.
