Be sure and tighten the two screws on the large filter cap and be sure the
metal bracket holding the filter cap is secure to the chassis. I've found
that the metal bracket is often somewhat floating above ground. The result
is the problem you describe.

I have a TT 962 power supply that came with the Omni 6+.
It has an 24v ac component on the output that I believe indicates
the filter caps are bad or perhaps the full wave rectifier.
Anyway, I have no diagram of the circuitry and am hoping some
one can scan and mail a copy or the whole manual, if someone
has it in pdf format. The manual for the power supply is not on
on the Ten-Tec old manuals page.
