My first TenTec was a Century 21 digi readout. Lived in apartment, so
didn't use it much. Next TT rig was a Scout, which I used portable.
The Jones filter was great! Fifty watts SSB barked quite well with a good
antenna. Since I wanted to have one TT rig, when the Scout was no longer
available, I traded it for an Argonaut V, which I still have. I also
have an Omni V with a couple of filters.
TT makes great stuff, and it is worth what you pay for it. Even used, the
gear is a bargain. Just got a 960 repaired. I hope to be owning a
TT rig of some sort for years to come.
