Barry,

I've been experimenting with my SAF BW, RF gain, etc., and I still find 
that 20 Hz is the best setting for me in bringing up weak signals.  At 10 Hz, 
the signal is about as strong as at 20 Hz, but there is more ringing., which 
to my ears detracts from intelligibility.  This difference in observations 
could be the 565 version vs my 566, or it could just be my ears.

I haven't yet tried the SAF on SSB, but will do that next.
