Pete:
Could I possibly interest you in a trade of my extraordinary Ten Tec ARGO515
SSB/CW transceiver *complete* with every factory built accessory, a matching
desk mike and stand, extra knob set, extra end pieces, and the PTO runs
perfectly........PLUS **at least** $200.00 worth of all but new ARRL and RGSB
Antenna Conpendiums and Handbooks and an assortment of other volumes? These
include *all three* of the now extremely rare Kurt N. Sterba Aerials columns as
collected in Vols I - III, and the Collector Edition of QRPp in printed form.
I would dearly love to have that Omni C, not least becus It has the huge Ten
Tec front panel and knobs. You may already know that I am a paraplegic, badly
wounded in the Vietnam War, where I became a Prisoner of War. Now a
quadraplegic, I can only use my left hand. So the big panel and knobs are a
real advantage for me. I had an Omni C once but had to part with it at the
time to pay bills and have always hoped to find another one.
Do you suppose we could work out a trade? If so, mebbe we could talk by phone?
I wud be happy to call you if only I had your fone number, and here's my cell
= 505-366-7182 MDT. I sure hope you will give this your consideration. It
would mean a world of difference to me. TIA.

Subject: [TenTec] FS: Ten-Tec Omni C 546 WARC with 255 Deluxe PS
This is an exceptionally nice late model Omni C which includes the 1.8 and .5
kHz filters and all three WARC crystals for 30, 17, and 12 meters. The stock
noise blanker that comes with all C's is of course included.
You also get the 255 Deluxe 20 Amp supply that includes the 3" x 5" speaker and
the 0 - 25 ampere ammeter. It operates on either 117 or 235 vac.
I've had Ten-Tecs since the PM-3 days and this has the smoothest PTO I've used.
You can also see why many people have praised the receiver for its quietness
and ease of pulling stations out of the ether.
For a set that has been operated and not stored in a carton it's in very clean
condition, puts out specified power, and though I can't measure lab type specs,
I've had it on the air many times and everything seems in order. The power
supply has been recapped and the input filter cap on the rig has been replaced.

Manuals for both units are included.
You're welcome to pick it in the Chicago-Milwaukee area and you can see it in
action.
Price $475 plus shipping if needed. Payment in cash, PayPal, or USPS money
order. As-is, not returnable.

Thank you.
