My Omni 6+ has gone hard of hearing. The signal loss has been traced to the pbt board. When I inject a 9mhz signal to the input of the board, I see about a 6 s unit difference between it and a good one. We have swapped out the 2.4khz filter with no change. We have also done the bpt adjustments and peaked the 3 output coils. I'm suspecting Q9, the second mixer maybe the problem. Anybody have any experience with this board? Tnx, Ernie K2EP _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
