Rick: I found that often the problem is caused by tiny amounts of corrosion
on the surface of the pins of the big flat cable connectors, and in the pins
of the connectors that hold the boards to each other. Try 'massaging' all
of them and see if that helps. If not, then the encoder itself has probably
gone bad.

Hi all..one of my Orions has a multi encoder that just won't work any
more...no matter what function you want to change, it won't...I have doen
both resets and no change...do I need a new encoder or is it battery
related?

Thanks de Rick NQ4I
