WE have a couple of Rigol instruments at work, and one is a fine little scope. It does so much more than any analog scope we have used. There are cursors to measure amplitude to a digital read out and same for frequency. One downside of digital scopes, is you may not learn the details of how to make a measurement as you would on analog scopes. With just a little manual reading, you can hook up a Rigol and take data.
