Dear Scott R23 is the level adjust pot on the Oscillator-mixer board. I think that's the one you are referring to. The manual only makes a passing reference to it when describing setting the balance in the mixer. Is this the pot you are referring to? Any other thoughts? The reason I ask is that the problem arose as a result of shipping. It's not clear whether the pot would be moved out of adjustment due to the vibration etc. Regards Mike K1PEV On 2/20/12 10:14 AM, "scottsheppard@videotron.ca" <scottsheppard@videotron.ca> wrote: >I think I may be able to help on this having spent a LOT of time inside >the OMNI...adjust the thumbwheel POT on the mixer/vfo board--it will >ensure you are sending enough signal to stay on freq and send it to your >counter...I am not near teh radio but I think it was referred to as >adjustment level or something... let me know. scott VA3IED >_______________________________________________ >TenTec mailing list >TenTec@contesting.com >http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
