Rich I don't have one for sale but I have experience with both.
I had a Drake L4B and a Drake L7 amp. Both built like a tank. But as years
when by, my rigs get newer.
1st was the Kenwood TS-850S/AT. Fine rig but I started notice that there was a
hight swr spike on keydown. I found that it was called "Hot Keying".
I made a slight modification and all was well. I then got a Icom
IC-756PROIII.
Well, the PRO was just too fast of an output for the old Drake L7 to
handle. On keydown, I got the "Hot Keying" spike. I tried different solutions
including the QSK-5 by Ameritron. Nothing seemed to work with my limited
technical knowledge.
I sold the Drake L7 and bought off the Internet a TEN-TEC Centurion. It was 16
years old and was the cream color face. Cost me $1300.00.
I could not be happier. You key the amp and the amp keys the rig. No more
"Hot
Keying" and having a QSK amp to boot.
I am not bad mouthing the Drake or any of the older amps. It just was the
newer
rigs were much faster in their switching.

Subject: [TenTec] WTB Amplifier
I am looking to acquire an amplifier in the next 30 days. If you have a
Ten-Tec
or Drake amplifier you are considering selling, please send me your price and
some digital photos.
I am not interested in a project amp. I already have one of those on the bench.
