Besides my various Ten Tecs, I will occasionally refurb something else. I have a TS-50 that suffers the classic "leaky" electrolytic issue... (they leak and damage the underlying board traces). I need to swap out a surface mount 47uf 16v. Rather than risk another leaky part, for the SMD part I can either swap it out for a leaded part, or a smaller leaded Tantalum cap. (both rated at 25v) Any risk in swapping a tantalum for the electrolytic?
