Replaced mine about a year ago. However.....since that time when I first turn the radio on, the screen is dim and re-adjusts over a few minutes. I've not explored the problem, and I wonder if that rather minor problem is a result of the change in display boards or if I need to make further repairs. Please advise me if the "warm up" part of the deal. I would comment that the new display is MUCH sharper then the original black and white and is really easy to read. As I was warned, however, there is some flicker, which is much more severe if you use the white background. Overall, it's a good fix, and just took me about an hour or so to do it with the directions that TT sent along. 73 de K8RYU |
