Todd, I've found that the Kenwood T-590S has a low-level raspy sound that
grates after long hours of listening.
I didn't notice it until I used it over the weekend in the CQ WW CW
contest. I've read some hams find the audio of the Elecraft K3
similarly troublesome. As an aside, I did find the Icom IC-7410 to not have
that problem, but I know this is a Ten-Tec thread.
