[TenTec] TT-253 Tuner Help?

One of my 253 Auto tuners is acting strange. I can tune antenna's manually and 
all meter functions work as they should. When I try to tune using auto tune the 
tuner faults every time. Any quick remedies before it has to go on a trip to 
TT? I have already changed the memory chip and no luck there.
