I had the factory rebuild the PTO units in both the Corsair II radio and in the external VFO. The internal PTO has smoothed up nicely, but the one in the external VFO is still stiff and has a noticeable amount of backlash. When tuning the receiver, the external PTO has a dead spot in rotation when tuning back and forth on a signal. It is slowly getting better, but it is still stiff and has this slop in it. Is there any way to fix this, or is this a case where the rebuild is not working properly? Tnx!
