Rod,have you seen the Eagle? It is small enough to fit on a slant board made up to fit the transmission hump on cars, and thus angle the panel up toward easy control use while mobile. Some have held such rigs to home made mounts by bungee cords and drilling out the board for the feet to be held in place against the rig sliding down the board. In a rental car situation, bungee cording the rig to the passenger seat can work. With a window ajar, you can route the power cable to the car battery under the hood for lowest voltage drop. 73, -Stuart Rohre K5KVH |
