the simplest solution if you have a spare slot is to install a serial port
card. i have one of the latest mobo's from ASUS with Intel duo 2 CPU and 3
serial ports. one on the motherboard, 2 on a PCI card. all work fine for radio
purposes.

About 80 bucks on ebay. I got one for my kid, one for the shack, one for
the in-laws...
Runs my rig, PSK, logging, WSJT, all without a hitch!
