It looks like Speakers Unlimited has a wide selection of oval speakers.

I prefer to deal with Mouser as they are in state, and fast to my 
location.  But, sometimes you have to deal with a national distributor 
whose stocking locations may be many states away.  I really miss our 
several local distributors of past days.  The last stocking one closed 
in 2010.  The other one left is mostly computer stuff.
One other idea is go to a garage sale and find some of those small 
speaker boxes that are taller than wide.  They have oval speakers in 
them.  You might get them for $1 a box.
