Yep, Mike, The Atlas had a very good crystal filter, very sharp. Nice radio in its day, although primarily a SSB radio. Yes, the Icom 756 is wide as a barn door if you get a high powered signal too close to it, I have had them shut down on me. You have to consider all the specs and some things mean more to some ops than others.
