I'm not interested in cheap, I currently own the O-II and an older Icom 775DSP,
both were tops in their day. The 775 still has the quietest receiver I have
ever had. I invested a lot in the O-II ... I just wish they would spend some
Henry brain power on resolving its remaining firmware defects, or better yet
provide upgrade boards (such as an additional DSP to off load some display
functions). The O-II was supposed to be upgradeable, but it seems to have
reached the end of the road unless John can be pulled away from the next
greatest TT cute product name and finish the job. 73/N4BE
