Its good only for CW, won't pass SSB.
The MFJ input impedance is much lower, can't be sure about the output
impedance but that's probably not nearly the problem that loading a
circuit expecting 220k with 3.3K will make on killing the audio. If the
input was modified with an op amp, source, or emitter follower to raise
the input Z it should work.
