I also had the same problem and sent my Orion 2 to TT for repairs, I feared the
worst, like blown finals.
Turned out that TT just reset the Orion 2, replaced the Beta firmware with the
last full update, put in some updates not related to the problem. If you wish,
I can get the invoice to see exactly what they did. They even swapped out the
rubber bands on my tuning knob at no charge. I was relieved it was not a major
malfunction.

Hi Richard. I had the same problem a while back. Turned out to be the drivers
and I sent it back to home base for repair. At the same time, there were a few
other updates performed at TT and I was a very happy camper when my baby
returned.
Respectfully,

Subject: [TenTec] Orion II Transmit Problem
I turned my Orion II on this afternoon and suddenly have no transmit output. I
ave reset the radio and still no output on any band, any mode. I have checked
he menus, but see nothing wrong. I have tried two power supplies and on a dummy
oad. I am using the current software. There are no suspicious odors or any
ther indication of something wrong. Any suggestions? Ten-Tec is closed but I
ill try them in the morning if they are open for the holiday.
hanks to the group.
